When you hear an instruction how do you know it is God talking to you? John 10:4 says: When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead if them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. The way to get to know someones voice is by speaking to them! Another aspect is that when you hear God tell you to do something don't delay! When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. - Ecclesiastes 5:4

In him was life, and that life was the light of mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome. John 1:4-5. Are you a light that shines in your darkness?
