It's freedom day. So I was thinking how many other people aren't free, you know being in the bondage of sin. We are free, however we can still lug around baggage! Do you carry unnecessary baggage?
Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the commands given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist he devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn, and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Yesterday we had the privilege to spend the day in Durban with the Hamiltons (our great family friends who now live in Ethiopia). Jumped off that pier or a similar one a few times.
